Things have been so busy the last month, so I was not prepared at all for Aidan's birthday. Dr appts and medical homework and dealing with symptoms have completely taken over. But we managed to get some respite time on Aidan's birthday, (thank you Mindi!) to get his presents purchased and some other errands taken care of. The people who see us regularly know that we have bleach stained and holy (not the angelic kind) clothes. We needed to get some replacements on a very meager budget. Not done, but grateful for how much we were able to replace.
Anyway, Aidan wanted this Blue Mountain Mystery train set that we could not even find before. When we found it, it was not at all what we thought he'd like. He is very persistent in his requests for it... so with the help of a coupon, and both sets of grandparents, we managed to get it. After opening it, I felt a tiny bit better about it. :)
This is a duplo Cars 2 set with the plane.
We still cannot use regular legos... probably won't ever get to that point.
The duplo size have cuter toys anyway. ;)
Because Aidan turned 8, they wanted to spotlight him in primary.
