Aidan's Baptism

Waiting. :)  We got there a bit early to put the programs out and make sure the room and water were cool enough.

Cliff...

To make things easier on Aidan, his baptism was first, after only the prayer.

For those who haven't been to a baptism like this, they have seats behind all this, but they allow the children and family to come right up to the font.

This was very difficult for Aidan.  Sensory issues galore, especially when his AEDs aren't working as well like now.  He let out a shaky, "ooooohhhh," and then told daddy, "let's just get this over with."

So he quickly did.

While he was getting dressed those in attendance wrote messages to him.

Then for the confirmation (a blessing) to receive the gift of the Holy Ghost- or the Spirit as more commonly referred to.

Shaking the Bishop's hand.

I swear I wasn't trying to be dramatic. lol  Emotional day. ;)

So proud of this little man and his courage.

Singing the closing prayer at the front with Sis Nielson. :)

Aidan was really struggling by now, but kept going.
(Later he paid dearly for it all, but for his covenanting with the Lord, it was worth it.)

All the messages.

Love this family... only their daddy missing.

After several had left or were standing around chatting.

Morgan...

My uncle Donnel. Totally sweetheart for coming- only one from my family that could make it safely.

Lincoln's parents.

Madison...

There were several past and present aides there... like Jacob, Tyler, Katelyn, Billie Jo, Dale...
I appreciate them so much!

Happy day.
