This boy has scared us from the get-go.
Mostly for safety issues. Then this last year when Aidan was in the PICU and on hospice.
He was just so sick, so so weak. It was Aidan all over again, only much sooner. I was freaked and thinking, how can lose both of them now??
So we asked for the G-tube surgery, which proved to help, to prolong his life at least some. It's not his saving grace, or cure. It's only prolonging the inevitable.
Soon, he needed oxygen. He really should be on a Bi-pap, but there is no way I'd be able to get that boy to keep one of those masks on at this age. I'm lucky I can keep the cannula in his nose more than half the 24hr period.
Needless to say we are very grateful this littlebigman made it to 8!

Legos Star Wars (he so wants a light saber that I goofed and forgot, such a sweet forgiving boy)
We snuck in an early birthday gift 3 weeks ago, that Jace had asked for. Not sure why he wanted a rocking chair, but he was thrilled!... and then the boys fought over it all night.
Charmander cake our neighbor made for him.
He enjoyed food and presents and then a relaxing drive. Unfortunately it ended waiting for me at the Drs getting checked because of my back. But he didn't complain.
